| South African Success Stories | posted by the ICPKP Webmaster 11:19 AM, 26 July 2016 NZST | Students of SKCSA's Capetown campus practice their stress release techniques Specialised Kinesiology College of South Africa has several campuses across the country with enthusiastic, dedicated students realising their potential as they work towards their Certificates and Diplomas in Professional Kinesiology Practice, and ultimately their Advanced and Graduate Diplomas of Kinesiopractic®. Here are some excerpts from the college's recent newsletter:
CapetownThe
Cape Town College has had a busy start to the year with a combination
of Level 1 and Level 2 Weekend Classes, and the very successful
Intensive Study class filled to capacity. The dedication, enthusiasm,
and excitement have been tremendous ...and there is much still to look
forward to. The upcoming End of Series exams will see many students one
step closer to their goals. We will also be offering a new Level 1 Intensive class in July, a Level 2 Intensive Class and a further weekend class starting Level 1 in August.
Kwazulu Natal (KZW)I struggle to believe that we are already half way through 2016 and that
my full time practice is nearly 18 months old! Nothing had quite
prepared me for the joy I would experience helping other people through
Kinesiology. If I had known, I would have made the career changes years
before. Clients with issues from an inability to sleep and weight loss,
children with learning and emotional difficulties have all shown
remarkable improvement. Having the flexibility to structure time around
family life has also been such a wonderful gift. The
KZN college has grown and some of the more advanced students are nearly
ready to go into practice themselves. The two new 1st year groups are
showing remarkable potential and I am excited to see what further
progress that they will be making. Our next level 1 course starts in September. Kinesiology has truly been life changing for me and I am looking forward to sharing this joy with you!
JohannesburgThe College in Joburg is flying with many students starting on level 2
whilst completing level 1. We have courses every weekend as well as
during the week, and recently had an 8-day intensive for the advanced
students. It is amazing to see the personal growth that each student
goes through as they work their own issues in order to become
well-adjusted practitioners. We share lots of stories, love, laughter
and also shed a few tears, during each workshop.
