Our newest ICPKP Instructors with Dr Bruce and Joan Dewe overlooking Pohutu geyser at the Whakarewarewa Thermal Valley, Rotorua, NZ
At the beginning of May 2016, a group of ICPKP graduates and practitioners came together for a special, one-off training week with ICPKP founders, Dr Bruce and Joan Dewe. Highlighting the international reach of PKP, we had attendees from Australia, the USA and South Africa, all excited to pick up a new skills and become ICPKP Instructors, the first step towards ICPKP Faculty status.

The special course was held to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the NZ Kinesiology Practitioners Accreditation Board (KPAB). Dr Bruce and Joan Dewe came out of “retirement” to teach the first Instructor Training Workshop for teachers of the new Certificate in High Level Wellness and Vitality. The FAC 1A+ course covers BKP 101 - 105, RBT 201 and adds the Stress Release made Easy workshop.

Este Godbeer (South Africa) writes:
"I have always wanted to enable others to use some of the powerful techniques in PKP to help themselves in their daily lives (without having to pursue a career path in kinesiology). Thus am very chuffed to have qualified as an instructor for the Wellness and Vitality Certificate, and the Epigenetics and the Stress Release Made Easy courses. Now I can spread the word! It has been so wonderful to be taught by Dr Dewe and Mrs Dewe themselves, and having met them, they are two of the people who I admire most in the world.

"Having come from South Africa, I enjoyed doing the course with fellow students from New Zealand, Australia and the U.S. and seeing the consistency in how and what we have all been taught around the world, over the past years. It was a 'long hours, lots of learning' course, and it was fun to have the chatter over tea breaks and lunches, and hit the town of Rotorua at night. The course was intensive, but worth every moment. Thank you to Dr and Mrs Dewe and everyone at the course for a wonderful time."
Stephen Woodward (USA) writes:
"Another class with the 'Masters'. It is always great to see the enthusiasm, passion and vitality that Bruce and Joan bring with their teaching. This new Faculty class was no different. Thank you!"
This course is ideal for those who have completed the Certificate in Professional Kinesiology Practice and wish to begin teaching entry-level units in their community with the option to take FAC IB at a later date and expand into teaching career courses and building a fully fledged college. We welcome all our new ICPKP Instructors and look forward journeying with them as they work to become Kinesiopractors® and eventually Kinesiopractic® Faculty members.
