Penny Davey receives her Kinesiopractic® certificate. Cheshire Kinesiology students and faculty and their iPads with ICPKP co-founders Dr Bruce and Joan
Dewe. On 25th May, Dr Bruce Dewe presented the new ICPKP iPad App to a group of enthusiastic kinesiology “Paddlers” (iPad users) at Cheshire Kinesiology in Macclesfield, UK.
Nine iPad owners, with a wide range of iPad experience, gathered at Cheshire Kinesiology to see a presentation on how the App will work for them as students, and how ICPKP faculty will use it. The presentation was also shown on Apple TV, so that people without iPads could also follow the process. The group were excited by all the technology, and by the wonderful ICPKP vision of learning kinesiology by having access to the ICPKP database through their own personalised App.
On 26th May, Joan Dewe taught part of a class on Pelvic Floor muscles, so that the Paddlers could use their iPads, and all the students got a brilliant experience learning from Mrs Dewe. The afternoon saw us in the sunny garden for presentations of Certificates, followed by great vision and hilarity in a Lego Serious Play session.
This was also a special occasion for Penny Davey, who is now the second Kinesiopractor® in the UK, having been awarded her Kinesiopractic® certificate by Dr and Mrs Dewe. The grin on Penny’s face suitably reflects the hard work that she has put into earning this prestigious certificate, and she can be rightly proud of all the work she has done. Well done Penny!
Everyone went home having had a fun and inspirational weekend yet again. We are already looking forward to the visit of Dr Dewe in August for his RED FLAGS workshop on 3-4 August.
