Students of Specialised Kinesiology College of South Africa celebrate their graduation with Senior Faculty Member and Principal, Margie Donde
Simply the best, better than all the rest – For being so bold, to take that leap into changing our lives. Today (Sunday 6 September 2015), was our celebration –for some of us the first, for none of us the last – in receiving respectively certificates, and various level diplomas. These celebrations will continue, and as the family of The Specialised Kinesiology College of South African grows, so will the attendance of our functions, as senior and fully qualified students welcome new and young blood, supporting and motivating each other, and offering encouragement for junior and senior students where it is needed.
This very special celebration, was held at the Barnyard where we watched a show called 50 Carat Gold (ie the 50 best songs of all time) The lyrics touching our souls, reminding us, that we truly are, Simply the Best. The older generations, were transported back into the most amazing memories, of decades ago, the youth simply relishing in music out of their time. Did you youngsters know, that the old folk had style and class, and were actually quite cool in their time?
We Rocked, and we Lived La Vida Loca. We swayed to the rhythms of bass, saxophone, beating of drums all coming together as harmonies, sweeping us off our feet into the ecstasy that only music can bring about – O yeah, it really is good to Get Rocked.
Were we “Under Pressure”? Absolutely!! But we did it, Rocking as we saw the End of the Road getting closer, after every unit completed cheering, Another one Bites the Dust!!
There are no Loslappies (lost souls), each and every one that celebrated today, and even those that were honored in their absence, having qualified, you belong and you count. So Don’t Stop Believing. Well done and sincere congratulations to all. You are Beautiful! Margie, thank you for your guidance, direction and counselling. We are who we are, because of the people who encircle us. You have steered us, into loving ourselves to be the best we can be. We are the champions of the World – Not only for our amazing achievements, but also for sharing in changing the world around us.
