Quality Teaching and Assessment Tools for Professional Kinesiology Practitioners and Kinesiopractors®

Professional Courses - pre-2019 Structure

ICPKP provides course material for up to five years of full-time study in Professional Kinesiology Practice in the form of:
  1. International Certificate in Self-Care (Short course)
  2. International Certificate in High Level Wellness & Vitality (4 months training)
  3. International Certificate in Basic Kinesiology Principles (4 months further training)
  4. International Certificate in Professional Kinesiology Practice (1 months further training)
  5. International Diploma of Professional Kinesiology Practice (2 years further training)
  6. International Diploma of Kinesiopractic® (1 year further training)
  7. International Graduate Diploma of Kinesiopractic® (1 year further training), to graduate as a qualified Kinesiopractor®
Becoming a Kinesiopractor® equates to approximately 3800 hours of learning and is the most comprehensive, student-centred training in kinesiology available worldwide. Our in-depth programme blends theoretical study and practical experience, enabling students of all ages and backgrounds to learn kinesiology and become highly skilled and sought-after practitioners.

Our Certificate and Diploma courses are suitable for countries with no national certification process and are also easily adapted to suit individual country's requirements. For example, NZ and Australia have different standards for their Certificate and Diploma Courses. The ICPKP units fit the kinesiology component required for both countries. ICPKP can work with representatives from a country to help build a programme that meets the standards required by the health and education sectors of government.

Professional Courses plus Continuing Education and Professional Development

Certification Programs leading to Four Diplomas, culminating in Registration as a Kinesiopractor®
The ICPKP® syllabus is taught in many countries around the world. It is the most comprehensive kinesiology education available today. PKP™ is the Gold Standard industry benchmark in professional kinesiology practice.

PKP™ Practitioner Certification

The foundational principles of kinesiology leading to the qualification of International Certificate in Professional Kinesiology Practice

Four Diplomas and their component Certification Programs

ICPKP®’s five step Kinesiopractic® Education Program has four Diploma Courses comprised of eleven Certification Programs:
  • ICPKP® Diploma of Learning, Metaphysical, Holographic & Vibrational Energies
  • ICPKP® Diploma of Energy Psychology (Subconscious, Soul and Spiritual issues in a Clinical Practice)
  • ICPKP® Diploma of Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation & Reintegration
  • ICPKP® Diploma of Dietary and Nutritional Science (Managing Dietary and Nutritional issues in a Clinical Practice)
For those enrolled in the iPad App system, all units progressively add the ICPKP® Active Fingermode Database to your iPad as you pass each online end-of-workshop test. The iPad issues a coloured Certificate when each test is passed. You can print certificates in A5 or A4 size for your clinic wall and can also post them on Facebook to include in your online advertising. The ICPKP® Active Fingermode Database gives you all the fingermodes you study in a rapidly active form - faster than accessing a textbook.

Several courses require the same basic units (like BKP 106 and RBT 201), and RPL is available for these. If you complete a certain unit as part of one Certification, you do not need to take it again as part of other certifications.

The four Diploma Programs can be taken in any order. You can also take Certifications from more than one Diploma at any one time.

Several courses require the same basic units (like BKP 106 and RBT 201), and RPL is available for these. If you complete a certain unit as part of one Certification, you do not need to take it again as part of other certifications.

People who wish to study PKP material must enrol with an ICPKP Licensed College in their own country. Once enrolled in a Licensed College, students gain access to forums and other student aids on ICPKP’s interactive website www.icpkp.com. PKP cannot be studied remotely via the internet. Students must enroll with a licensed college and attend classes. Most units of study have classroom, home-study and clinical components.

The ICPKP is not a training institute and does not directly enroll students or teach classes. Rather, ICPKP provides teaching materials and assessment tools that can be used as components to meet the kinesiology requirements for national certificates and diplomas in many countries.

The PKP programme was developed by medical doctor, Bruce Dewe MD and his wife, a teacher, Joan Dewe MA. Both Bruce and Joan have taught kinesiology workshops around the world for 20 years. Their unique finger-moding system, 5-Element and Amygdala Emotion Charts added new dimensions to consulting and take away guess-work from the process.
The PKP programme teaches not only a wealth of kinesiology techniques, but also includes personal development, relationship skills and the opportunity to make personal emotional and spiritual growth.

Qualifications and Local Requirements

On completion of the full five years of PKP study, students will have completed Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma and Graduate Diploma studies, graduating as qualified Kinesiopractors®. Certificates and Diplomas from the International College of Professional Kinesiology Practice are issued under license by the local Licensed College providing the teachers and teaching space that meet the administrative and educational requirements of the country they are resident in.

In New Zealand, the home of PKP, students are eligible to apply to the Kinesiology Practitioners Accreditation Board to become a Certificated or NZ Registered Kinesiologist. The latter have the right to place the prestigious letters, NZRK, after their name.

The NZ Charter of Health Practitioners has accepted the NZRK Certification as the requirement for Chartered Natural Therapist status.  NZRK Registration meets the requirements for registration as a Chartered Natural Medicine Practitioner, regarded as the highest natural therapy classification awarded in NZ because it carries the right to recommend ingestible products.

Licensed Colleges in various countries may provide different combinations of generic and PKP units of study based on the local requirements for practitioners of traditional and natural health disciplines. Likewise, the qualifications issued may also differ from country to country. Please contact your local ICPKP Licensed College for more details.
