Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get Recognition for Prior Learning (RPL)?

Yes, following the guidelines of the NZQA, the ICPKP offer RPL to students who have completed exams and received qualifications for relevant courses.

Qualified physiotherapists, massage therapists, chiropractors and other health professionals may be able to gain RPL passes for significant units in the diploma programme such as Anatomy and Physiology, depending on the depth and breadth of their study. Likewise, those who have completed exams for Kinesiology workshop series' such as Touch For Health, EduK or Brain Gym may receive RPL for some parts of the introductory units. Some accredited colleges run Crossover Classes that allow you to fast-track your way through BKP 101-105, covering just the material not included in Touch For Health 1-4.
Where a course has been attended but exams have not been sat or passed, students will be required to pass the equivalent exam in the PKP Diploma Programme to demonstrate their competancy and justify RPL.

RPL is granted by accredited ICPKP colleges at their discretion and on a case-by-case basis so please contact your local ICPKP Accredited College for further details. Administration fees may apply.
